Hostpoint offered me to transfer the whole website to a faster server and yes they will do the whole work. Ok, let's say 98% of the work, but thats a nice solution.

Today i don't have much time to fix the broken things, i got a DJ set at 01:00 AM MEZ at buenz.li and my friends are moving location within Bern, Switzerland. Friends always have priority.

Sorry for the problems. starfrosch DMD (bittorrent) is still running, just the lovely interface has some outages. Get freaky and stay tuned.

Der Yahoo Spider macht mal wieder einen refresh und schickt gleich ein paar hundert Crawlers vorbei. Kein Wunder klappt der Server da zusammen. Irgendwie aggressiv das Teil.

server. i can't even handle a few thousend listeners a day. i am so depressed. not even my mysql friend has to work, always sleeping, always overloaded. i am so depressed. why can't i just run? always, without maintenance? everyone tries to help me, always. i got tons of system engineers trying to help me. but nothing helps, i am such a lousy server. maybe i shoud start guru meditation. when i was young, it was so helpful.

Slow but still running

You may have noticed, the website starfrosch.ch is terribly slow. Is this the iTunes effect? I have noticed yesterday an increase of 20% of visitors. Slow is fine, i am not in a hurry. Relax.

"Name Server sync Probleme könnten die Ursache sein" meint der freundliche Mitarbeiter.

Das Trouble Ticket meint Unterbruch, was soviel heisst wie Totalausfall einiger tausend Websites.

"Die meisten Services sind wieder verfügbar." Nur unsere nicht. Dranbleiben, danke.

plääääääääär. so ein riesen quark....diese mysql db fällt ja immer wieder aus....kaum zu glauben, dass da jemand arbeitet in dem betrieb. scheint ja ein dauertroubleshooting zu sein. holdri, hopp. flickt das zeugs ich mag nicht die ganze zeit blogeinträge über downtimes schreiben.

zeit zum wechseln?

die ausfälle unseres providers hostpoint sind ja nicht wirklich toll. wöchentlich klappt die mysql db zusammen, das sind wir uns gewohnt. normalzustand.
als zusätzliches schmankerl kommt jetzt noch der ausfall von httpd (apache) dazu. langam aber sicher muss sich da was bewegen, damit die verfügbarkeit nicht ins bodenlose absackt.
